Spent last 3 summers there with my son.
Mostly familiar with El Zonte which is very quiet and Coatepeque which is town on a volcano with lake in it.
I drove all over the country and these two places were real standouts. I also stayed a bunch of airbnbs for a week at a time meeting the locals so i have some opinions on that too. Let me know.

Whats the daily/nightly budget etc?
