The Military Aviation Museum features a collection that highlights the history of air combat through aircraft from World War I and II. The oldest aircraft in the collection, including both restored originals and replicas built to original specifications with original engines, represent the early era of aerial warfare. The World War II aircraft are restored to wartime configuration and flying condition, comprising combat veterans, battlefield recoveries, and survivors that have been flown continuously since the end of the war. This collection provides a comprehensive view of military aviation's evolution during both world wars.
