Last night a relative was on the phone, asking for some help. They decided to lighten the mood by telling me a racist joke.
I’m trying to separate the help they need from their ignorance, it’s not my place to judge who is “worthy”. Nerves can make people say stupid things.
I’ll help them, but I don’t really want to be around them.
