I checked out my sample ballot yesterday in Alabama. There are maybe 30 positions to vote on, and only 3 or 4 of them have a Democrat even running. #Democrats aren't going to retake majorities *ever* in states that they just stop running in. Meanwhile these states continue to become even more extreme theocratic white patriarchies killing women and locking up non-white people.
