Also, Lefty the crow has been by THREE times today. Just a minute ago ze stayed and ate 2 peanuts on the roof with me making small-talk the whole time (small talk with crows is easy because they don't respond much and aren't demanding I say much, either).
I think we are at the point of some measure of "friendliness", I think Lefty recognizes me as definitely not menacing and maybe even worth spending time with.
Making a crow friend wasn't something I expected to do when I moved here, but I'm glad it happened.
