In Bladerunner there are androids that look perfectly like human beings, but by using a Turing test it is possible to determine if someone is a real person or one of these androids. The test supposedly measures a person's reactions to a number of morality questions, and the androids will have different answers and behavior when answering the questions than humans will.
The real life bot-test is just asking to say a slur.
