I am a paternalistic technocrat. I want to link the availability of all university programmes to employer demand. The ideal of a liberal education is a bourgeois fallacy to me. There is no point in educating people for unemployment with study debt. I sincerely believe that 19-year-olds are the wrong people to decide, through their demand, what uni programmes should be on offer.
