I actually see significantly better performance on the Chromium side of things. Using Firefox eats through my laptop's battery much more quickly, even with all of the manual hardware acceleration tweaks in place (which really shouldn't be necessary at this point). Nothing flat out fails on the compatibility end, but I do notice small things like some video players stuttering or doubling up frames which sucks, especially on an HTPC. Not to mention the fact that Firefox is pretty far behind Chromium in terms of security.
