Headwaters on Nostr: You said watch the news but don’t look around. The people next door don’t belong ...

You said watch the news but don’t look around.
The people next door don’t belong in your town.
Prove you’ve complied, so I’ll ask you again.
The only way you’ll move’s if you’re ten out of ten.

They blocked the next move, no way to get through.
So I looked back and made the normal be new.
You said “I’m super, didn’t you hear?”
But the problem is who you’ve got in your ear.

They don’t know the truth, so we must verify.
Build your gate.
You know what you need.
Just believe; and you'll, leap.

You said the cloud is gone; I said my goodbyes.
The sun’s still around and not clouded with lies.
Numbers not typed, the two states will hold.
We’ve got a gate for each of the nodes.

You said yes but what if instead
We find meaning and we let go of dread.
You asked me direct, will it be A or B.
And I said the trade-offs are the canary.

Neither once more, there’s more to know,
Let’s craft a better way,
Like the way of the…
Crow.

I found the salt.
I built you a box.
I’ll teach you how to use it,
But I’ll keep mine in locks.

I’ll, ooo when you show.
That the way you’re working is the way we know.
We know more.
Don’t shut the door.

They gated the tools.
Gave ’em to the bros.
Nobody asked about trade-offs.
Nobody knows.

We need you to keep going.
Build.
Then ask again.
Just ask again.

They don’t know the truth.
So we must verify.
Build your gate.
You know what you need.

Just believe; and you’ll leap.
