I don't know. I haven't written Traveling Fast yet.
Both Coenraad and Fourteen are marked by past damage: mangled TMJ for Fourteen, wrong side of the immigrant transition for Coenraad (but local people say he's built like a peasant, not an aristo).
Just before or just after the beginning, (depending on whether the cold open decides to be violence or creeping dread) Coenraad takes a beating. After that? We'll see.1/2
