Huh, looks like my paranoia pays off :drgn_blush_giggle:. I'm ignoring the subway at near 6 years, since an obstacles to enter it became more and more crazier. First, /they/ installed a single metal detector frame and a luggage x-ray scanner in a separate room, to send some "suspicious" passengers to check. Then, to the sake of "SeCuRiTy" the whole entrance to subway became fenced off with a lot of metal detector frames, so it is became impossible to enter the subway without being scanned for metal.

At this point, when I entered one specific subway entrance near my home, I was always sent to this room with x-ray luggage scanner to check my backpack with a meal for dinner every fucking day. The "guards" obviously ignored the fact that they scanned me each fucking day and found nothing every fucking time. Possibly, they were using some outdated police manual from USSR-era which has some shit like "people with beards and not completely white skin are definitely terrorists", huh :drgn_sigh:

The last straw was the new inner rule for "subway guards" prohibiting the civil guns and ammo to be in the luggage of passengers. It was violating the laws, which were allowing the transportation of civil guns in the cover with all the necessary license documents. At this point I decided to ignore the subway transportation, because here (not in USA, lmao :drgn_blush_giggle:) the new guns-restricting laws and rules usually show that something bad will happen after it (e.g. first prohibit the civil guns, then start the repressions).

And recently I was really NEED to use a subway — there simply were no another way to arrive at necessary point at the necessary time with existing money. Looks like the things worsened A LOT after these 6 years. First, I was ordered to put all electronic devices, even the smartphone to the x-ray scanner. Then, I was ordered to turn on all my electronic devices to show that it is a real electronic device and not a some kind of bomb (at least it was justified this way).

/They/ watched that smartphone screen is lights on and, thankfully, didn't order to unlock it. But the laptop causes a much more attention :drgn_blush_giggle:. The screen with BIOS (Libreboot) didn't satisfied /them/, they wanted me to enter the #GELI password and show that OS is booting. Yes, under the ton's of cameras and in presence of two "subway guards". I complied, because in the good case I was just driven out of the subway and will be too late for the important meeting; and in bad case the police were involved :drgn_sigh:. Then, /they/ started asking questions: isn't this some kind of "military tech" (#Thinkpad X220, LMAO), WTF is #FreeBSD is booting, etc.

Ofc, I changed GELI password as soon as I arrived at home :drgn_blush_giggle: with some simple commands:

```
doas geli setkey -j ~/old_passphrase.txt -J ~/new_passphrase.txt /dev/adaXpY
# Check that key №0 was changed (keys should be equal to 0x01)
doas geli dump adaXpY | grep keys
keys: 0x01
rm -vf ~/old_passphrase.txt ~/new_passphrase.txt
```

So, looks like my paranoia with all these checks before entering the subway were right. If I don't want all these humiliating checks, then better to continue ignoring this public transportation thing at all. Hope, one day I'll buy a car or a motorcycle and will not be bothered with all this craziness at all :drgn_sigh:
