In Congo they call lightning Nzazi, and it takes the form of a kind of a dog, either red or black, with shaggy hair and a curly tail. When it comes down it gives one sharp bark – ta! – and with the second bark it goes up again. No charm can protect against it and no medicine person can avert its attack.
