Just happened across this summary (in PDF...probably not an accessible one), by a first generation Albanian-American, of the state of things in Albania prior to the elections in 2025 (In which current PM Edi Rama won an unprecedented 3rd consecutive term).
It's a good summary of Albanian politics post-Hoxha and pre-2025. Thus good background to know for the #FlamingoRevolution , where most protestors are calling for accountability and prosecution for members of both the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party.
