Good morning all you beautiful people đ
I was pouring my tea this morning, from a tea pot my daughter gave me on a birthday long ago. And I found myself missing the teas of my childhood.
The tea, the teapot and the tea cosy. Milk in a jug on the table. Warming the teapot before adding the tea. Waiting for the tea to seep. A quick stir or sloosh around of the tea before pouring. Pouring half a cup for each person, then filling the cups with the now-stronger tea. On with the tea cosy to keep it hot for the second cup. Sipping the hot hot tea. With breakfast or with biscuits/cake/muffins hot from the oven at morning tea. The afternoon cuppa signalling only a few more hours till the day is done.
