Susan Githaiga is making her mark in open-source Bitcoin development! 🚀
Her contribution to Mujina, an open-source Bitcoin mining firmware project, is a powerful reminder that even small code contributions can make a meaningful difference in global technology.
By simplifying part of the project's codebase and reducing an external software dependency, Susan demonstrated the value of practical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration in open-source development.
But there's a bigger story here... 👇
➣ African developers are contributing to global Bitcoin infrastructure.
➣ Women are building their place in the open-source ecosystem.
➣ With the right training and opportunities, African talent can make a global impact.
Susan's milestone also highlights the importance of initiative like DADA DEVS and DADA HUB (nprofile…kkyd) in helping African women develop practical Bitcoin and Lightning skills.
The future of Bitcoin is open-source, collaborative, and African developers are part of that future. 🌍
