A day of ancient and modern contrasts. Woke up feeling 💩 so the first job of the day was to go to the pharmacy and buy paracetamol and a covid test. Fortunately the test was negative but I didn't feel up to much so Wally drove us to Sparta, home of an ancient warrior race with some seriously weird ideas and legendary strength in battle. Modern Sparta is well off the tourist trail and gave a different perspective of Greece from the usual cliches.
