Going door-to-door and asking for treats/sweets: in your country/culture, when do people do this?
In the USA, this happens the evening of Oct 31, our Halloween.
Back when I had a house & lived in a suburb we had a lot of visitors to my neighborhood. People would drive their kids in from elsewhere. I loved it. I went all out with decorations, spooky music, witch hats. My little dog, who loved people, wore a costume. It was great fun seeing all the kids. My favorite "holiday."
