(I get a physical reaction sometimes to seeing someone else get injured. Sort of a buzzy-shocky feeling in my spine and flesh. I thought this was normal until I read Parable of the Sower where the protagonist has a disabillity called "hyper-empathy" where she has basically a more extreme version - seeing someone get knocked out can knock her out, seeing someone get shot makes her feel like she's been shot - and now I sometimes wonder if this is my own hyper-sensitivity or if others also feel a physical response when seeing someone *else* be harmed? Who knows. Anyway, today, in this very specific case, it's extremely annoying because I can only watch like 20 seconds of this movie before I have to stop and look away and think about something else. Ack! Oh well, it's fine, I'm fine, we're having fun.)
