ESP32 Jump Scares with The Haunted Box #ElectronicHalloween
Cytron Technologies posted up this guide for a haunted box using the Maker ESP32 board. A PIR sensor detects when someone passes by and the LEDs and servo motor (literally) jump into action. Music from a nearby laptop adds extra chills. The Haunted Box is a motion-activated Halloween project developed using the Maker ESP32. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the system triggers a coordinated sequence: the servo motor creates physical movement, the RGB LED stick glows red, and a connected laptop plays horror audio. This project integrates motion detection, lighting, and sound to deliver an immersive, interactive experience. See the full guide!
