Question for HR/hiring managers, especially in tech/infosec: I’ve been on disability for about 18 months now though technically my contract didn’t end until December 2025.
As I update my resume to go back to work, should I say I worked at my former employer until the day I went on FMLA in November of 2024, or do I say I was employed until Dec 2025?
This will be my first time applying for a job with a working gap on my resume, so any other tips for how to address that gap would be appreciated as well.
