Do I need to change banks because they checked my license expiration date before giving me change for a $20 bill? No. But having to go back to my car for my ID seemed ridiculous. They told me they wouldn’t have made change if my license had expired. WTH?
Over the past year, I went along with so many things that didn’t make sense because I was dealing with unfamiliar situations and didn’t know what to expect. Lately, though, I’m noticing just how much nonsense we’re expected to put up with!
I’m learning to let the unimportant stuff go. Next time, I’ll see if the grocery store can make change. Just another lesson for Deb in navigating today’s ever-changing world. LOL
