Good news for us UK renters I guess. (I have some vague solar plans already, but that plan is to keep it isolated from the mains anyway.)
I love the photo in the linked news post with some bloke just casually drillling through the waterproof membrane on top of a flat roof building. Presumably he'll ensure his fixings on that are suitably waterproofed. I bet landlords seeing that are getting the heebie jeebies, but I am OK with that. 😅
Bloke is also about to trip over one of several things and go right over the edge of that building.
(Is this a real photo? The hands and wrists holding the drill look odd to me. Says its a Getty image tho.)
