"content": "Full moon rising, as seen in the mountains of southern New Mexico.\n\nCompare this visible light/color version to an infrared/monochrome image from the previous evening.\nhttps://universeodon.com/@KrajciTom/114486720495506407\n\nThis evening the sun had just set before the moon rose, so the terrain is not well illuminated. This makes the full moon the brightest object in the frame. Because the moon is near the horizon, we are looking at it through lots of atmosphere. This colors it orange/pink.\n\nA diffuse band of cirrus is above the moon and it shows a slight hint of sunset orange.\n\n#NewMexico #Moon #Color #Photography #Astrophotography\nhttps://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/114/492/477/834/060/090/original/0ba07cc3370d6088.jpg\n",
