it was unfortunate that we were too slow to react, and that the leaders of the reaction used the imperial, colonial digital platforms, instead of using the opportunity to pull people out of them. it's understandable that the short-term urgency made the long-term plan less appealing. but next time the imperial platforms will be prepared. so we'd better be as well.
