Setting up #LUKS2 #encryption is not a user-friendly experience & is a perfect example of how user unfriendly linux can be. Or should I say non idiot-proof? It does not echo the #passphrase. There is no way to make it do so. So how is one supposed to deal with the case that the keyboard is different to what the computer is set as? Then you type in your passphrase twice blindly & then later wonder what happened as what you thought was a - or y was something else and boom lockout. Terrible design.
