So, my house is over 100 years old and has layers of "fuck yeah, we're rich" including tin siding under the vinyl, so it's kind of a Faraday cage. We can see LTE & 5G if we're near a window. There's WiFi calling for voice, but no equivalent for sms (or QKSMS doesn't support it?) so to send texts I sometimes have to hold my phone against the window.
