If you're in and around Greater Manchester, the police are now frequently deploying Live Facial Recognition cameras to identify people on a watchlist. Their allowable False Alert Rate is 1:1000.
Unfortunately I suspect we're going to see more of this as part of a move towards a more authoritarian state with the two main parties fighting to see who can be the 'toughest on crime'.
