We're entering into the hottest week of the summer thus far in Northwest Arkansas. While triple digit heat is not unusual, typically hitting it at least a few times every summer, a prolonged stretch like this is.
Temperatures will hit 100 F (38 C) today and then will hit 102 F (39 C) every day between Wednesday and Sunday. Daytime temperatures will likely remain above 100 F through most of next week.
No relief in sight, as they say.
