I actually care about future generations even though I don't have kids. Contrary to what JD Vance and his ilk believe about childless cat ladies, I think my nieces and nephews and even their friends I'm not related to at all deserve to grow up with all I had and more. But I tell people that I want knowledgeable doctors and plumbers and because people need less convincing of that than that every child deserves a real education, not warehousing and third-grade literacy.
