Cyber extortion group WhiteArmor claims it accessed Gamdom’s full user database and is demanding $15 million in Bitcoin from the crypto gambling platform. The group says the database contains 15,420,003 accounts across 146 columns and alleges that attackers entered through an old Metawin machine account that retained administrative privileges. It published a sample of 100 account records as evidence, but has not publicly detailed all allegedly stolen fields.
Gamdom founder Felix Romer disputes the scale of the compromise, saying the attackers reached only a few hundred accounts and that servers were shut down to protect customer information. The claim follows an October 13 hot-wallet exploit that reportedly cost Gamdom between $3 million and $4.2 million in cryptocurrency. The allegations remain disputed, while the Bitcoin ransom demand puts the incident in focus for users and crypto platforms.
