So, as ever, keeping up with the gaming times, I finally got my hands on Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Despite being half dead from a very busy day, my brain viewed it as the perfect time to try something new.
I've enjoyed the first few hours, although getting to grips with a new control scheme again is becoming a mundane annoyance of the series.
And, I now find I actually miss the meta narrative, the interwoven "real world" segments and the ongoing war.
I'll be interested to press on today (if brain deems it so) and learn to defeat whole new bad guys & poor "wrong place, wrong time" guards.
