There sure is no shortage of "water cycling through Earth", but thing is, it's not accessible all the time and not drinkable and usable all the time....so again you get to: "shortage of drinking water" (i doubt we care about industrial water).
You can have as live soil as you want, but when number of mouths outnumber what soil can produce, than you do have shortage. We have whole history of species to prove it.
I would agree with last one. Even tho big percentage of humans are not creative types, there is plenty of us that are.
And your conclusion, that earth will thrive....yes, with or without humans it will. Earth does not care about humans or any other single animal species. It does not care about whole spices categories, countries, continents. Same goes for the universe. Most of it wants us dead anyway.
