"content": "So it looks like the Sectric mechanism for the wall clock which was in my Grandfather's office, is toast. The motor shaft has failed and is cracked which is why it kept stopping.\n\nThe marking on the mechanism look to be \"OFMG 101 41\". May be QFMG, or QEMG. I'm optimistic I can find another mechanism, but it's too early for Euro quartz movements (which are all one size) and I want to retain the hands.\n\nMy search-fu is failing me. Any horologists out there in Fedi-land please?\n\n#clock #horology\nhttps://blop.social/system/media_attachments/files/117/246/560/540/188/763/original/6e03c5891b84b13a.jpg\n",
