hmm... i dont agree. we have power politics because everyone wants to capture the money printer for their own goals. take it away and politics change radically.
the "payment system" very much decides who suffers in economic crisis, because the rich get bailed out, always, one way or another ...and the losses are socialized, always ... the method by which its done is the printing press
