Please help me understand:
The latest version of the #Ubuntu distro I like has a graphics driver problem and the screen flashes. But it can run new versions of #Blender.
I had another ISO and installed an older version that doesn't flash, but it says that Blender 2.9 is the latest version. Does the kernel version determine which packages are available?
How do I combine older Ubuntu with newer Blender?
