1. Sexwork should be decriminalized—and there's no counter-argument you can make that doesn't amount to "because women shouldn't own their own bodies". It's nothing like hiring a hitman.

2. What "effects on bodies"? Pleasure? Emotional connection? You can have both without sex and, in fact, I do have both with my asexual girlfriend. I also have both with people that I do have sex with. Sex isn't some magical thing—it's an activity.

Arguments against sexwork and arguments for compulsory monogamy both always end up back at puritanical religious views and the idea that women are a man's property. It's gross.
