The other benefit is that I can use any tool I want with a completions endpoint without worrying too much about cost on jobs. For example, using opencode (which is my daily driver) once selecting a model, all tasks or subagent work happens on the current model (at least for now) so it allows the subagent to use a different model based on the context and I can tune it.

Same with silly things like titles or chat. My titles are generated by the same tev instance so it's free, where it cost's a cent or two every new chat.
