I'm sorry, but I don't like the word hilariously. That implies that if someone does something badly, it's OK to laugh at them. It's not.
Until I retired I taught adults. A large proportion of my job was restoring the confidence of people who'd been made to feel ashamed at school because they hadn't been good at things.
