I live alone and generate plenty of laundry. Other than clothes, I have to wash bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, and of course sheets and pillowcases. Very occasionally I'll have a white garment I want to keep nice, which I will set aside to wash with towels or sheets that get a little pod of peroxide whitener. Everything else I just throw together and wash on "normal" as needed, which is usually more than once a week.
