idk maybe it is pr dependencies but it seems weirdly obtuse and arbitrarily restricted, pr dependencies aren't linear, but everything i read tells my brain that it's purely linear, which is just not correct

also i think splitting in pr 1 pr 2 and or 3 leaving partial work in the repo is a profound mistake, main branch should only ever have finished work, what's the point of wip branches if main is itself a main branch
