I really WANT to like OpenMeteo in my weather apps (Breezy on Android, Mousam on PC) because I'm all for open-sourced infrastructure, but I've found that it is almost never accurate... at least not in my area. I have much better luck with Accuweather and NWS.
I might need to look into a way to contribute somehow. I contribute to OpenStreetMap when I can. I might look into building a Raspberry Pi-based weather station and find a way to pipe that data to OpenMeteo somehow. 🤔
