PSA: Microsoft have gone wack. Starting February-April 2026, they are DELETING ENTRA IDs from Authenticator if your device is jailbroken. This is unfortunately real.
Phase 1 (warn mode) begins February 2026
followed by Phase 2 (block mode)
then Phase 3 (wipes Entra creds)
expected to be completed around April 2026
Please boost or share the word, as more people need to know of this. I am unfortunately affected as my phone is jailbroken with Xinam1ne.
https://xcancel.com/rucam365/status/1983538494740873447I will genuinely be having the talk with my university soon, to find an alternative login method for my Entra ID with them. It's not their fault for this change, of course - but my point is:
No matter what I'm doing, I am not jailing my phone. I. Don't. Care. What. Microsoft. Want.
I suggest you do the same and stand up for freedom with the devices you bought and own.
