Iran's internet is quietly closing again

This week people in Shiraz, Kerman, Tabriz, Tehran and other cities told Iran International that connections slowed sharply, VPNs stopped working (even paid ones), and Irancell mobile data was being cut at night. On Friday the two biggest mobile operators raised internet package prices by up to 40%. An Iranian outlet also reported a directive to cut international access immediately if the war resumes. That one is unverified, but this year already had a 3-week shutdown in January and an 88-day blackout from February.

I'm an Iranian living in El Salvador, and what I keep coming back to is timing. Most Bitcoin education assumes a working internet. For Farsi speakers the window to learn self-custody can close in a day, so the lessons have to be in people's hands before that happens.

So I'm asking Nostr for concrete ideas:
- What's the smallest offline "starter kit" you'd hand someone (wallet installer, a one-page seed backup guide, a restore drill)?
- Has anyone actually taught Bitcoin with sneakernet, USB sticks, Bluetooth mesh apps like Bitchat, or satellite broadcasts? What worked and what didn't?
- How do you verify a wallet download when the official site is blocked?

I'm turning the good answers into Farsi lessons.
