My photo from 2009. Protective boom on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, to prevent idiots taking their boats too close to Scrivenor Dam. The dam on the Molonglo River (more of a creek really) creates the lake, which is artificial and has existed only since the 1960s. #canberra #photography
