Sometimes I think about what I've survived most recently. Most of my friends are dead, as are most of my family. I'm very healthy for a person my age, I just have a lot of age! People tell me I need to make new friends, but it's hard to make friends in your end-life stage. I'm way older than most of the people I know, and my interests are somewhat ... antiquated. Films that were famous 60 years ago, arts that haven't been practiced in decades, forgotten lore dancing around in my head.
