Quite remarkable that #Iraq is embarking on a census.
It took Bosnia almost 20 years after the war to do its census and another 3 to release its results.
Lebanon by contrast had its last census in 1932.
Even in my country, censuses have been controversial.
So I guess, best of luck to Iraq! We may soon have the horrific consequences of 10 years of excruciating sanctions and then a US invasion illustrated with exact numbers.
