⚡🎮 WTF - A tester has found that recent digital purchases on PlayStation now include a 30-day license validation timer.
When the console’s CMOS battery dies and the internal clock resets, these games become unplayable even on a primary console, requiring an online connection to revalidate the license.
Older digital titles without this timer continue to launch and play normally offline despite a dead CMOS battery.
