I do change out the trigger disconnect bar to a 3.5 pound in all of mine for consistency. That and night sights are about all the changes I do for my combat Tupperware.
Long ago I started out with a couple horrendous true DAO autos which probably calibrated me to think a stock Glock was not that bad. The first was this nasty little Keltec .40 caliber with a trigger like picking up a sack of potatoes and then it goes off like a bomb in your hand. Something in the trigger broke twice and I had to send it back for repairs. They stopped making the .40 model I believe because it was too much round for their little frame. Definitely not trustworthy for a self defense gun but very fun to hand off to someone for funny range day reactions!
The other was a Taurus PT-45 also with a ridiculously heavy pull but good for trigger reset dry fire at least.
The good thing is that we have plenty of worthy choices and if you live in a reasonably "free" state can still get what you want!
