Heard today: that “Ottawa’s energy policy” amounts to an “attack on Alberta’s way of life”
Albertan here: oil and gas as an identity is a ridiculous position. My Alberta is a rich and varied place, full of rich and diverse human and natural resources. Doubling down and further entrenching our petro-state “way of life” will only continue to harm Albertans.
The separatist position amounts to: ‘I embrace O&G as my identity, way of life, and culture.’
