also tbqh I don't enable timed locking on any of my computers, including laptops. IMO the time lost unlocking it [20-character RNGed password] is annoying enough, and the risk of someone actually doing something small enough, that I don't care.
If it's _on_, I'm nearby enough to not care. For my home PC, even more so: if someone steals it, have fun with that encrypted drive. If it's at home, and someone breaks in, my computert is _not_ my concern lmao
